Jimi Tatu

Tatu is a 53 year old male Dominant from Florida whose central love has been Japanese Rope Bondage, or otherwise known as Kinbaku or Nawa Shibari.  He has been teaching Shibari as a spiritual component to D/s for many years and is on a very short list of well-respected Rope Masters in the US.

He has traveled to Japan and studied with Japanese Bakushi, Arisue Go and Randa Mai. He is currently writing a book about the Art of Kinbaku entitled, "Nawa-do: The Way of Rope".

He is also the owner of the Adult Rope Art Yahoo Discussion Group with some 13,000 participants.  It is  the largest rope group on the net, helping people with: techniques, safety, resources, and artistic exploration of the art of rope.

He is also the founder of The Palm Beach Munch Group.  Tatu has presented at international forums such as Black Rose, LIL, Denver Bound, SELF, BMSL, TEASE, Orlando Bash, Kinky Kollege and ShibariCon as well as numerous regional support groups.

Japanese Chest Harnesses: (Course overview)

Also known as "Chi-chi nawa" which is Japanese slang for "Tit-binding", Tatu will teach historic forms of Japanese Kinbaku, Being rendered incapable of only embracing the rope is a key moment of sensual surrender in the rope bondage experience. Tatu will teach an advanced form of chest harnessing that will place your rope bottom in the position of no choice ,but to surrender her/his power to the pleasure inflicted.

Presented will be the traditional "Ushiro Takata-kote", or "Kote Shibari" a box arm & wrist tie. This form is the building block of most Japanese Rope ties. Basic safety and quick release methods will be covered. 

A Second traditional Japanese chest harness variation will be taught, known as the "Ushiro Tasuki". And finally the Hon-Kikkou, a beautiful decorative form invented by Bakushi, Randa Mai, will be taught.Consideration will be given to techniques for:

"pechapai" - the small breasts/flat-chested "mechapai" -  big breasts "dekapai" - huge breasts ....and for those of you who live in Holland this is called "utter bondage"

Inspired by some exciting images from some of the classic "Japanese Pinku" / "Roman Porno" genre' of soft core, sexploitation films; Tatu will share some images and ideas for incorporating bondage, bamboo and humiliation seen in these classic films into your erotic rope play.

Classic Japanese Bondage incorporates two key elements, humiliation and sex. They have some very interesting ties that are accommodating for sexual pleasuring with will inspire us on how to  beautifully, tie, pose and expose your rope victim to enhance your personal intimate enjoyment.  

Suggested rope lengths for this workshop are: 3-30' & 2-12' lengths, either 5/16" or 3/8" in diameter
