shevah is a native to Cincinnati, Ohio where she currently resides.  She identifies herself as a 46-year-old submissive, but with a slave’s heart.  After finding what her soul and spirit craved, shevah became aware of the need to share her various experiences with others and to contribute to her community to make a difference.   After years of devoted service in the Cincinnati area, she now spreads her talents to surrounding groups.  She continues to enrich lives in her quest to help guide individuals in their search for understanding and find acceptance within their lifestyle communities.  
 
Shevah’s varied interests have included both physiological and psychological aspects of D/s S/M, along with promoting rituals and protocols to help enrich relationships and working with energy forces to better balance your inner core.  She also has a strong fetish for Shibari inspired rope bondage and is well known throughout the rope community.  Shevah is the founder of a local rope group, CARE: Cincinnati Area Rope Enthusiasts, which hosts a monthly rope bondage workshop called, Rope Rendezvous.  If you are interested, please visit: http://www.ds-arts.com/shevah/CARE .

Rituals In Relationships: (Course overview)


Learn how to value the moment and enhance your relationship by involving rituals. Rituals can provide: security, confidence, stability, a sign of honor and respect, a revival of one's soul, reassurance of your commitment and reinforces one's position. These acts come in many forms: visual, oral, written, public, private, mental, spiritual, meditative, and many more. Formalities can reflect: your intent of leadership or service, self-value, integrity, and purpose. Ceremonial gestures inspire us: to be reflective, to breath, and most importantly, to be in the moment.

One cannot be true to the ritual unless you feel that you are worthy … worthy within yourself to both give and receive. This workshop uncovers the ritualized options available in a M/s or D/s relationship and what each partner can discover within its meaning.


Aftercare-A Negotiated Closing Scene Ritual: (Course overview)


Minimizing the importance of aftercare is a monumental mistake.  It is a continuation of the scene and a necessary step towards recovery of mind, body and spirit for the bottom and the Top.  Remorse, bruises, delights, exploded landmines, cries & laughter are just a few issues to be addressed.  Problem solving scenarios will be discussed though out the workshop, and your input is an essential ingredient. 

Notably, good aftercare can save a bad scene and conversely, weak aftercare can tarnish a good one.  This interactive presentation will examine the various processes of aftercare and explore techniques to use for both Tops and bottoms.
