SENSUAL MAJIK: Spirituality and SM: (Course overview)

While SM for some means sadomasochism for other it means sensual majik, a way in which a couple can communicate on both a physical and spiritual level in an erotic context. Going beyond kinky foreplay to a deeper level of eroticism the workshop will discuss the use of ritual and other techniques to arouse the most important of the sexual organs, the mind.

The world in which we live is filled with rituals, some self created and others created by the society in which we live, the groups to which we belong and even the people with whom we come in contact. Rituals serve a variety of purposes from easing stranger interaction to creating an environment which will impact on our mental and emotional state. Religious ceremonies are prime examples of the latter use of ritual. Their purpose is to create an aura of mystery to induce a spiritual response.

The use of ritual in a scene can be used for the same purpose. Scenes are a form of erotic bonding, a merging of two persons into a single being through sex. Sexual bonding takes on many forms, much more than just putting Part A into Part B, and to not explore those forms is cheating oneself of the banquet which is available. When the spirit becomes a part of what we do then whole of our being is nourished.

COME FLY WITH ME: Transcendental Scenes: (Course overview)

Why do you scene? Do you have a goal in a scene? Who is the scene about? How do you think a scene should be structured?

We are all aware of the how to seminars available to us at events. Three handed flogging, four handed fisting, fireplay with incendiary devices of all types, the list goes on and on limited only by the creativity of devious minds.
We would like to take a bit different approach and look at ways of putting technique into a context which can make a scene a spiritual as well as a physical event.

Dividing a scene into four component parts we discuss each and how they all fit together into a seamless whole by exciting the mind and body to produce an erotically spiritual or spiritually erotic experience. This is not about how or when you use X technique rather it is about creating a scene using rituals, technique and caring to communicate and have energy flow between the two partners. We will share a framework which we have found works for us which perhaps you will find also has merit for you.
